Generally, our website can be used without providing any personal data. Personal data (e.g. name, postal address or email address) are provided on a voluntary basis wherever possible. No such data shall be transferred to any third party without your express prior consent.

If we use external service providers to process personal data, these service providers have been carefully selected, commissioned in writing and are bound by our instructions. The service providers will not pass this data on to third parties, but will delete it once the con-tract has been fulfilled and the legal storage periods have expired, unless consent has been given to store it beyond this.

Making contact

When contacting us by email or via our support forms, the data you provide (your email address as well as your first and last name, possibly other voluntary information) will be stored by us in order to answer your enquiries. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are statutory re-tention obligations. The legal basis for processing the data is your previously issued consent (Article 6(1)a GDPR) and/or our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)f GDPR) in responding to your enquiry and/or for contract execution / prospecting for business (Article 6(1)b GDPR).

Please note that any data transmission via internet (e.g. communication via email) may involve security gaps. It is not possible to provide for complete data protection against access by third parties.

Cookies

Internet sites regularly use so-called cookies. Cookies are not harmful to your computer and contain no viruses. Cookies help to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and saved by your browser.

On our website, we generally use cookies and other technologies that are absolutely necessary - in your and our interest - to navigate the website, to use basic functions and to ensure the security of the website. These cookies do not collect information about you for marketing purposes, nor do they store which web pages you have visited. In addition, if we use technologies that are not absolutely necessary for the use of the website, this will only be done with your consent.

You can configure your browser to notify you about any cookie, to accept cookies only in certain cases, to generally exclude the acceptance of cookies and to automatically delete cookies when the browser is closed. The deactivation of cookies may limit the website’s functionality.

Server Log Files

The web provider automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted to us by your browser. The information contains:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

These data will not be merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check these data at a later time, if any concrete evidence of an unlawful use comes to our attention.

SSL Encryption

For reasons of security and in order to protect confidential data, such as enquiries that you send us, we use SSL encryption. You can recognise encrypted connections by the change from “http://” to “https://” in the URL field of your browser and the displayed lock symbol. If the SSL encryption is activated, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.

Your Rights

You have the following rights towards us under the respective legal conditions with regard to your personal data:

  • the right to request access;
  • the right of rectification or erasure;
  • the right to restrict processing;
  • the right to object to processing;
  • the right to data portability.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority about our pro-cessing of your personal data.

Since this data protection notice may change from time to time as a result of legal changes or new functions within the scope of our services, we recommend that you check it regularly.
